The Aristotle University οf Thessaloniki UNESCO C2C Center on Integrated and MultiDisciplinary Water Resources Management (CIMWRM-ΚΕΟΔΔΥΠ) have the honor to invite you to participate in the International Symposium on Water and Sustainability: 50 years of UNESCO IHP, taking place on 16 October 2025 in a hybrid format, both in-person in the vibrant city of Thessaloniki and online. This landmark event, held under the auspices of the Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO, will bring together invited international speakers, representatives from UNESCO IHP, and leading UNESCO Centers and Chairs to reflect on five decades of scientific advancement and future directions in water sustainability.
The symposium will feature a special session highlighting the contributions of Greek UNESCO Chairs and research teams from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and collaboration. We will also be proud to host a video from a photography exhibition on the theme of water, showcasing the creative talent of AUTH students. Join us to celebrate this important anniversary and contribute to the vital global dialogue on securing a sustainable water future for all.
